The UCF Union Chapter brings faculty and professional employees of UCF and the State University System into a relationship of mutual assistance and cooperation in order to obtain and maintain for them the rights and privileges to which they are entitled. As well as promotes a democratization of UCF that will enable faculty to better serve the people of the State of Florida.

UFF is affiliated with and AFT, the two largest educator unions in the U.S. as well as with the broader labor union movement under the umbrella of the AFL-CIO. Affiliate unions support the work of our members by using pooled resources to provide services and take collective actions that local chapters could not accomplish on their own. UFF also helps build at the state and national levels in ways that directly improve the lives of our members and families.

The Faculty Senate is composed of seventy-five elected members from the general faculty. Eligible members are those persons employed by the University of Central Florida during the regular academic year and whose primary assignment is to carry out the academic mission of the university, namely, teaching, research and academic service.

Greater Orlando NOW

Greater Orlando NOW’s (GO-NOW’s) purpose is to act through intersectional grassroots activism to advance feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all people, especially women and girls, in all aspects of social, political, and economic life. We should all be feminists.

Federal law, the Florida Constitution, and the Orange County Charter requires Orange County undergoes a redistricting process after each federal decennial census. The purpose of such process is to reconfigure the political boundaries of the six County Commission Districts in order to account for population changes. The U.S. Census Bureau completed the latest census in 2020, and the County subsequently completed its required decennial redistricting process on February 22, 2022.

County Watch is a formal permanent committee of Orange County citizens, business and political leaders dedicated to the openness and responsiveness in local government.
County Watch was created and is maintained as a “bipartisan” council of the Orange County Executive Committees of the Republican and Democratic Parties. (REC and DEC)
The County Watch mission is to investigate and report for the purpose of public awareness on the activities and agendas of “Non-Partisan” elected officials of the Orange County and Municipal Governments.
